Justice and Advocacy

The Justice and Advocacy Committee provides resources and opportunities to help our congregation grow in the type of proactive faithfulness described in Micah 6:8: “What does the Lord require of you? To do justice, and love kindness, and walk humbly with your God.”

Our advocacy ministry roots itself in the Bible, reflects the historical engagement of the church in civic life, responds to the needs of God’s people in the world by adding our voice to policy discussions, and seeks a balanced approach to issues based on human need rather than partisan ideology.

You can get involved by joining the planning committee, receiving JAC emails, and/or participating in advocacy campaigns such as Bread for the World's Offering of Letters. Learn about our denomination's efforts, actions you can take, and updates on current issues on the Presbyterian Mission Agency's website.
