Benefit Concert - FMSC
June 08
2 00 PM

FMSC BENEFIT CONCERT: We invite you to join us for an uplifting performance by “Shades of Harmony,” a women’s a cappella chorus that will be performing at FPCH on Saturday, June 8 at 2 p.m. in the Sanctuary. This concert is a fund-raiser for our upcoming Feed My Starving Children Mobile Packing Event and a free-will offering will be taken at intermission. “Shades of Harmony” is generously donating their time so all money raised will go directly towards buying the ingredients for the 400,000 meals we plan to pack in November.

“Shades of Harmony” was born in 2001 right after 9/11. A group of women from Williamstown, NJ, decided to get together and do something fun to lift spirits after the terrible tragedy. The group quickly grew, started performing in the area, and chartered with Sweet Adelines in 2005. “Shades of Harmony” now competes and performs all over the area with members of all ages ranging from teens to seniors.

As a special treat, “Shades of Harmony” will be joined by the celebrated high school barbershop quartet, the “Quin-Tones” from Salem County who were recently named winners of the National Junior Quartet Championship presented by the Barbershop Harmony Society.
