Moms Demand Action Speaker
May 20
11 15 AM to 12 15 PM

Shirley Conroy has been an active member of “Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America” for 3 years. She is currently the Events/Volunteer Coordinator Lead for the South Jersey Chapter. Her experience as a teacher, mother, and grandmother compelled her to join the gun violence prevention movement. Moms Demand Action was founded by an Indiana mother, Shannon Watts, the day after the Sandy Hook shooting. Five years later, millions have joined nationwide. Moms Demand Action is non-partisan and respects the Second Amendment. The organization demands common-sense solutions to the gun violence that takes 96 lives a day. Common sense solutions include closing deadly loopholes, promoting gun safety, supporting reasonable limits, and creating enforceable laws that address gun trafficking and keeping guns out of the hands of people who are a danger to themselves and others. Sunday, May 20, 11:15am in the Back Boardroom.
